I play guitar and i almost always improvise solos. You teach piano? the idea of improvising should not be impressive to you either. Know your scales and what key your in and improvising is all in a day's work don't you think?

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">First off I don't see how all DMB songs sound like each other. Listen to a song like So Much To Say and then listen to The Last Stop and tell me they sound alike, most ever song sounds different.

I am happy to see that you can improvise a talented musician can. DMB when they improvise it is perfect, they can get on stage and just start jamming something they never played before. I like this because I have yet to hear a band that can improvise better than them, also I have yet to hear a better drummer than Carter. I can understand that you don't like Dave's voice, it's kind of like people don't like Ness' voice.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">You are just plain stupid. Improvising takes true talent to do and I would like to see you get up on a stage and make up a song perfectly. Maybe DMB likes variety in their songs and it is fun for them to make up new things, the crowd loves it.

People on this board have given DMB props for their variety and talent even if they hate them. And as far as fans go, most of my friends and people I know love DMB or at least appreciate them. I've met Gretschy, and I communicate with him outside this board via e-mail, and I can tell that he's going places in the music business, and he has connections. He's a cool guy, witty, humble, and has great taste. Better yet, he's putting himself out there. Unlike some people on this board who talk shit, and yes "hide behind their computer". Obviously, some people that post on here, are here to make friends, and some people are here to see how much shit they can stir up. Here's my analogy, and I know I'm opening myself up for a world of bashing.

Erica, I would say you're correct except for one thing. I don't talk shit because I'm angry with the world, I do it because of how funny the reactions are. I know I have a twisted sense of humor, but that is the real reason. As for the coward part, you're probably right about that too. If I was face to face with SickGirl, after I vomited from looking at her, I would probably be too chicken to actually say anything. I accept that I am a coward though, and will happily continue hiding behind my computer. Now, let's get back to some topics that aren't about talking crap. That is all.
